Cymbalta Approved for Fibromyalgia

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has recently approved the medication Cymbalta for the treatment of fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia is a cause of widespread chronic pain which is believed to affect approximately two percent of the U.S. population. Cymbalta is a type of medication known as a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor.
