Keeping a pain journal can give you an invaluable resource for coping with your pain. While many recommend key components of a pain journal, such as pain ratings and documentation of daily activities, there is no right or wrong way to write in yours. Sometimes it takes some trial and error before you find what information is the most helpful for your journal.

What do you write in your pain journal? Share your advice and experience.

I write about the things I have learned to hide these last 18 yrs, and not tell anyone. I was writing it all down and burning it. Now I blog. I just started but it is a relief to get it out! Maybe I can show some people what we hide behind those walls.
